The "Talmud" is initially founded from what is known in the Rabbical communitee as the "Oral Law" which was written down after the Second Temple was destroyed. It is a series of 6 different books and is used as a study to "Understand the Scriptures". This has some controversial history with the concept that is initially from Moses just not written down because the details of how to do things was not given within the Scriptures.

The “Mishnah” is now another 22 books to suppliment the Talmud which becomes now a series of 28 books that must be known as a Rabbi would study them. This must be done before anyone should have an opinion on the validity of these writings. In my opinion, this series of books is likely 8-10 times as much information and the entire “Tanakh” which everyone believes are written words from God. In this opinion, if our convention is to seek God through His Word we have established the most reliable and rich resource to personal relationship. The Mishnah is the legal interpretation of the Tanakh according to the Rabbi’s but this theory is subject to religion rather than proven relationships that bring the prophetic truths! Addiing to the Word of God without knowing the Word of God could be of a great failure. Hosea 8:12 says God has spoken 10,000 precepts...maybe we should start there again?
