Talmud: the Traditions of the “Oral Law”

I find the Tanakh a deep enough book to show much of the Israelite plight as a people. The Talmud seems to be a connection, a Jewish History book that make the Jewish people have a connection point to much of their plight as a people and very much personally at times. As far as being books that stirs some community to the Jews as a people bringing some culpability of unity through their plight: it has great value historically and some connections to the plight religiously. It also carries much of the failures verified by writings of mysticism which separated the true relationship with God. God was the King over Israel but they wanted man kings. This historical turning of men becoming kings is plagued with failures for themselves and their country. King Saul failed, King David failed but repented, King Solomon failed and didn’t repent. The twin calf idols worshipped by the tribes of Israel in Dan and in Bethel forged by King Jeroboam solidifying his own personally family history of idol worship through his father Nebat. Although we can learn history from many resources, restoration within the relationship with God only when we recognize our own sin, which causes remorse and through remorse causes us to consider repentance. It is only through this humbling of us before our God who sees; with inscrutable perfection bringing justification or judgment.

As I was praying about this subject the Spirit of God was again showing me our failures to build this repentant relationship rather than cloak it with insights that never spiritually restore. So my impartation on the Talmud verses the Tanakh will be stark in saying that the Talmud will be historical covering that does not bring remorse.

The Tanakh is a working of God to bring both, a spiritual “washing and regeneration”, a conviction leading us to repentance and a way to become restored in our relationship with God, knowing His salvation. I am going to bring some Scripture to bear here of this formation of this gross exodus and apostasy that must be recognized, dealt with individually and allowed to break us so that God may have His way with us.

The first is the song of Moses found in Deuteronomy 32:1-43 which is a deeply insightful prophetic display anyone could hear and take notice,

The second is the prophet of God, dedicated from the womb of Hannah, Samuel to replace Eli and his wicked sons as Judges. 1 Samuel Chapters 1-7.

The third is 1 Samuel 8:7-9, wanting a king, rejecting God as King.

The fourth is I Kings 11:9-11, kings failing.

The fifth is I Kings 11:26-40, kings being kings, failing.

The sixth was I Kings 12:25-33, sin of Jeroboam, failing

The seventh was 1 Kings 18:18-46, Elijah against the false prophets facing odds of Elijah against:850

The eighth was the prophet Isaiah, repentance

The ninth was the prophet Jeremiah, repentance

The tenth was the condemnation of Israel and Judah in Ezekiel chapter 23 followed by another double witness of the Song of Moses seen by Ezekiel from another prophetic sign.

The eleventh, is this prophetic description in perfection of these observations of God and His lovingkindness to ultimately restore seen in Chapter 36 even to these last days “hallmarked with God is good and His lovingkindness endures forever.”

Finalized working of God to cause us to be washed and regenerated is that we can recognize our failure personally. This is the only tally God cares to keep with us, our relationship with Him where we turn our hearts back to Him in repentance. The clarity personally of calling our unfaithfulness “our sin of rebellion and therefore as sinners coming to this humbling called repentance” is in every aspect as a prelude to hearing from the God maybe for the first time. I am trying to serve with my whole heart mind and soul and I find that this course correction is a daily need to keep myself pliable with God rather than hardened in sinful behavior.

In this I see this religious covering of the endless knowing the history of what has transpired without making a course correction away from my religious training to being honest with myself in my failures and then being honest with God who already knows. My need of repentance does not shock God, it is actually a desired place where we desire to become cleaned before Him so He can impute His righteousness upon us by His love and His grace.

More books that do not fully give absolute authority to the Scriptures and invade with clever insights that may or may not be enlightening in ways that are always helpful make me question of Scriptural intervention. And that is adding to the Scriptures, which have three distinct possibilities: (1) that the additions bring insights into knowing the Scripture to Scripture interface which is always strengthening to our faith (2) the potential of bringing in religious interpretations which can have the fingerprint of man besmirching the ancient pathways of God (3) the additional potential of bringing a much darker work of the enemy into the teaching which can have a deeper veiling of the meanings of Scripture. Faith pleases God but making ways of doubt are opposed to that work: and because of the “doctrines of demons” that can be introduced and now become subjective, demented teachings that cause failure rather than repentance.

I have written a second book with the double witness of the prophetic calling Israel to repentance by your King. It is a book that is filled with knowing the lovingkindness of the Father for the “Apple of His eye!” My best guess is it should be published by the summer of 2026 and will be done again by “Legacy Publishing” and my same writers “pen name”, MessiahsColt.

The “Tanakh” (Torah, Nevi’im, Ketuvim) and the “Brit Chadeshah” (27 additional Messianic books) are direct from God to you personally. Middlemen can be less effective in the foundations of relationship and has the potential of becoming a relgious experience in my opinion and based on my personal studies.

A grizzley bear walking through the brush in a meadow in the heart of Yellowstone National Park, a stream nearby. This is about 800 Meters or Yards away from my 250-500mm zoom lense. They are not to be trifled with at any time.

I don’t need to be closer than this to a grizzly bear to know that they are dangerous. I try to pick my battlegrounds and not fight in fights I can only lose very possibly through ignorance and definitely not trained in this legal concourse of subject matter. Does it have some merit, very likely! Does it compare to the written “prophetic words”, in my opinion unlikely.

I do have a few websights and emails of studies that I have followed for some years now that are both Jewish synagogue only types and secondarily Messianic groups that have started to know the Brit Chadeshah as Canon of Scripture. What is interesting to me in these different circle is the same texts being used in many synagogues week by week, the same year after year. Much of the impact is hidden and is the purposed conditions of which my “second book” currently at the editor “Legacy Publishing” was written showing the double witness of God to prophetically tell of these time ahead, calling Israel as a people back to Himself in a fulfilling relationship, not known by many at this point. Ezekiel 36:1-38 is one of the most profound portions of scripture from the Tanakh that defines this prophetic display of this coming work of God to redeem His people, “The apple of His eye.” Romans chapter 11 continues to define the prophetic display of God for this coming work!

The little I have read of the extensive legal requirements placed on every ruling and every Rabbinical teaching that has become exercised in the synagogue settings. Thereby, I see the peril of becoming so driven to hear everything from some authority to gain some sort of effectual status in the religious circles that the relational aspect of seeking God personally is beyond the concept of most. Although I am sure that these teachers would still imply that would be good. Knowing that ordination into the

Rabbinical circles requires the letters of recommendation and signatures of attestiment to good standing in their eyes accoring to these traditions, ten Rabbi’s must confirm this person or they simply have no say within the community as a leader. If everyone were perfect, this too would be perfect would it not?

However how many perfect men do you know personally and if you raise your own hand my guess is all of us will disqualify you on your arrogance alone. The High Priest first atoned for his own sin and then for the nation. Personally, believing I have come to know Yeshua Hamashiach, we have a prophetic word from the Father YODH HE VAV, endorcing the Lord to become the High Priest in the Order of Melchizedek which is a fascinating study in the book of Hebrews.

In Jeroboam’s failure, he change the feast of the 7th month to a rededication to the LORD into a physical feast of the eighth month to obscure this gross purposed failure. It is the purpose to delude the people into belieiving this religious pursuit has some ordained covering by God in which a lie is perceived by the audience to bring some sort of religious comfort while being steeped in sin. Indeed, the biggest failure was to not hear Moses, singing a song of failure before God showing their blindness to spiritually hear with their hardened hearts. It is always the case when sin abounds, the masses do not have good discernment nor can they endure solid teaching, both are like fingernails on the chalkboard.
